They have shown me videos ... it’s out there but there’s no understanding that surviving isnt living and slowly dying is worse than death

Is it possible they know it bugs you, and they enjoy that? It doesn't just happen online. That creatures that live under bridges stuff is everywhere.
I'd nod, say it's improved and ruin the fun. Eventually they either give up or they marry your sister.

I meant personally with friends and peers . Where you can actually express your words in a less composed way, so you just say look mate get a grip Or try n explain for the 4th time

2 times and done. If you ever watched the original matrix movie. Some people are just too set on their ways, so "dependent on the system" that they will defend it to their last breath, regardless of your good intentions or evidence for your argument

You can lead a fish keeper to water, but you can't make them think.

The problem is poor practices mean that the fish suffer. Some people do not care and nothing one says or does can make them do so. The world is not a perfect place by any means.

The internet has given a lot of folks a way to become stupid and to stay that way, oh well.
