looks good bet you cant wait to get started!!!
Yay you got some pictures.BTW I love the under the bed pic, made me laugh (sorry).
Hi FattyLooks like a cool little setup, and sounds like you got some good prices... apart from...
I have been looking for a 4ft overtank T5 lighting unit for ages and couldn't understand why they where so expensive.
Then i found one very similar to the arcadia but £40!, three 4ft T5 bulbs 28W, one blue and two white. I still can't believe it, but it seems to work fine.
And yes completley above board and brand new, and in birmingham.
Sorry if it's too late

maybe get a refund as you have a bit of time, free up the money for stock!
you live in dudley? You should be going to MG Marines, meant to be a good shop. Run buy a nice guy called Bill.
Ben
Well i'm ten minutes from there. I'm lucky enough to have 6 fish shops within a 20mintue drive from my house so i have lots of choice. Hmmmmmm i'll have to find that place, sounds good. Thanks for the info
That sucks. But at least you have 2 months for more researching and stuff!
It sure doesYep i see your point with the extra research, just so dissapointing too have everything together but not being able to get it started.
I pay $10-$15 per kilo. Or roughly $5-$7.5 per pound.
Sounds like a good deal!
Cheapest I paid for Fijian LR was
15.00 (UK) for 10kg
I dont think the guy knew it's worth

Hi everyoneHi Everyone![]()
I'd always thought of a saltwater tank as miles too hard and costly for me to give it a try. When this sub-forum opened up i was amazed by some of the members beautiful tanks and realized you don't have to have a 6mile long tank to make it a success. So after starting a thread bombarding SH with lots of questions and then researching the net and other forums i've decided to give it a go.
I Have Drawn up all the costs of EVERYTHING i can think of that i will need to get my nano-reef Ready for fish. Please mention anything else i have missed...

A bit nasty looking When it's in black and white but when everything comes together it should look good. I've got another £120 coming on the 27th January and about £90 more just before. After that i'll have to save up weekly while paying for driving lessons and a phone bill![]()
Hopefully Livestock will be a true perc and maybe a firefish. Trying to get Samsung to send out a replacement installer disc for the Digi-Cam![]()
Thanks Dan
Ps: This will be a slow nano-diary but hopefully it will be another great tank to add to the great collection we have here already![]()
Make sure you run the tank with all equipment going and run it for a few days before adding salt or LR. Check carefully for leaks, temp, pumps functioning etc. I'd change the water out also to make sure any dust/dirt,chemicals are out, hence, you can water test with tap water. Don't laugh, but, this is a critical step to prevent a total early loss. WTG...you're on your way. SH
