Is the tank full or are you planning to get some other fish?

I was away for 6 days. This is what I saw when I came home.

There was some algae on some of the older Echinodorus leaves. That's what happens when the CO2 addition runs out.

I'm going to add some apple tree sticks today. And next week I'll get 10 Corydoras robinae. And daddy promised he will help me with the metal halides soon (read: within few weeks).

I was thinking... If my tank starts to do the jungle lookalike thingy, then those apple tree sticks wont be that visible. So why not add some more.

Shinnersia rivularis, Nymphaea lotus (zenkeri), Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata ''Cuba'', Lindernia rotundifolia etc.

51 plant species in the tank if I remember correctly. I need to get rid of some of the species, but that wont happen yet.

I was thinking about letting them grow for some weeks with the metal halides on and the remove those species that don't seem to like the tank and leave the healthy and good looking ones.

I have 10 Corydoras robineae now =)
They arrived today after travelling 6 hours in a bus. One of them was in a bad shape, but maybe it will survive too. Fingers crossed.

Thanks =)

(Aquarium) plants use CO2 for assimilation (the thingy they do so they can produce oxygen, energy and stuff :).
