Sal Goes Rio With A Bit Of Vision

I started with ammonia, but stopped it last week so don't really want to re-start that. I suppose neons are not the best choice anyway, they are surviving now in the other tank because it's mature, but in the beginning I really struggled.

Will add the dwarf rainbows and do 25%-50% daily water changes. Should keep me busy, but I don't mind doing it. Just want to finally see some fish and enjoy them.

I'll ask again and sorry for being a pain, but would appreciate a reply. Do I need more weeping moss or will it spread enough?

if it grows, you can trim and fill the gaps yourself in time, no point rushing for more unless you got money to burn and want to do it.

Once it gets going its suprising how quick it grows. This can be used to make more pieces or just left to go where it wants. You will need to trim it anyway to keep the bottom from dying so might aswell use it to make your own bits.

Make your own! :good: I am currently growing out my own groupings of plants from1 or two stems that were sent to me. its really frustratingly slow, but when it's done it'll be as rewarding as an outdoor garden.

PS: I'm broke just now though. If I had the money I would have perfectly aquascaped tanks.....

Thanks for the replies. Will leave it as it is for now and hope it spreads enough so I can make my own.

Dwarf rainbows have moved in last night. Shy at first, but now they are swimming nicely in the tank. They seem happy.

Your fish must be more dizzier than mine.

The hygrophila siamensis you brought me is super nice, I could have a tank full!

A few pictures of my dwarf rainbows. They were scared at first (not surprised by that) but after a couple of hours they calmed down and now they are enjoying their tank. Ammonia and Nitrite still 0, will hopefully keep it this way by doing regular water changes.

They are absolutely beautiful  Their blue shimmers depending on how the light hits them, looks great. And they have so much personality already. As soon as I put my hand into the tank, they come up to nibble on me. I even hand fed a few of them tonight, so cute!

First hours, really frightened hence tight shoaling

Video coming soon :hyper:

BTW, I have a confession to make. I got myself a third Rio. 260 Vision :hyper: Picking it up tomorrow, bargain on ebay. Got a seller for my current 4fter and when I'm ready it's going to be a swap-around. The 260 will be malawi

I should buy Juwel shares, they are making a fortune through me

Yup! See, even you couldn't have said no to that. Kev is just laughing because my plants have gone on floatabouts again

Anyway, here's a video of the rainbows. Excuse the aeration, just chucked in for now. Will sort it all later.
