Hi guys,

One of my girls has slowly being loosing her tail, I suspect that its either my tetra or the face she's a bossy madam.

I noticed today she is practically tailess and is now chilling in my hospital tank with fresh water.

I would like to know how else I could help her out.

Thanks

keep the temp up the water clean if you see any sign of illness then treat be vigilant as infection will be at an easy access
also feed her meaty foods high in protien as this will boost her fin regrowth by 2% with all these added together

Resources: i am currently at college doing and animal health and biology cause :)

Thanks guys, she seems to be ok now, there does seem to be some clear re growth there so fingers crossed.

liquid skills I checked 2 foods I have are 46-48% crude protein, does that seem ok? or should I look for higher? thanks

That should be ok ill have a look at what ive got but thats basicly the right amount do remember it wont work over night it will take a few days if not a week to start boosting her immune system and repair :)

I use Melafix in my tank regularly and it makes the room smell nice and chills out the fish more =D

I do have some freeze dried bloodworms i could try her on till i can get to the shop n buy some.

p.s this is how she used to look
