Rabbut's Marine Jurnal

There is nothing worse than loosing fish and having the retailer offer no support, so I sympathise with you there  I also hope the replacements do better

All the best

Glad to hear you got something out of it Rabbut, Xenia settling ok?

Not yet. If they haven't called by tomorrow, I'll get back on their case. They were supposidly getting them in on Thursday or Friday last week, and contacting me once they had had a chance to get the settled and feeding, so I could go look and confirm I wanted them. They won't let them go untill they have had them there and eating for two weeks though (apparently).

Called the shop today, and the replacements have arrived and are already displaying a reserved sign in the QT section :hyper: I will be going to collect (Subject to Confirmation of a lift being available, and them still being healthy after their spell in QT) a week on Sunday :good:

I'm excited for you too :hyper: post pics when you get a chance. Sounds like you've had a slightly rough time... Good luck with the new ones :)

OK, update time :hyper:

I have the new Clownfish, and the other Hermit crab has "upgraded" it's shell again. I saw the swap take place this morning :good:

Any confirmation on the satrfish ID would be greatly appreciated

The new pair of Skunk Clowns are doing realy well. Friendly and outgoing, they are all over the tank and already greeting people as they enter the room  Time will tell, but I think this pair will do better :good:

My folks like the Neon Blue Gobies, and want to buy me one... My research tells me they should be OK, but anyone have a second opinion?

Thanks for your support and all the best
Rabbut

Google recons they are coral munchers

Could you second/refute my research Ski?

They apprear from a few forum posts that I have found on competing sites, that many have problems manually removing them... If they do need to be out, what predators would munch them, that are suited to long-term life in a 70l tank? Just a few mentions of preds have come up, and none I have found to be suitable to my system so far...

Thanks again
Rabbut
