Post Pics Of Your Beautiful Bettas Here!

Well, I did a water change on the 10g, and made the switch. I'm beginning treatment on Ice's fins and 10g give me more of a dilute area. Flare is easy going and took to the 3g tank right away, made some faces at me, danced, and is already blowing bubbles. Ice is exploring the 10g wondering what he is going to do with all that space. I put a sponge over the filter output as Ice is not used to a filtered tank. Hopefully i will see improvement in his fins within the next few days.

What do you use to water change? All that in 15 minutes.

It's only a 10g tank. And with no fish it it. I use a siphon/gravel vac and a 5g bucket.

Don't forget, I have a lot of tanks. I have found efficient, effective ways to get them all done in a few hours :p Look at my sig and see what I have in my house.

Ahh that's why you use a 5 gallon bucket. And my gravel vac is to big for my small tank lol but I use it anyway. I'm thinking about a 25 fter only $20 on amazon. I think it's worth the investment. It'll save you all that bucket hauling. Every w/c day I've gotta haul at least 5+ to dump out then fill 5+ back up temp match dechlor. Dump in. It takes me maybe 1 1/2 hours to do a w/c on both my 2 tanks combined.

I can do all of mine in about 3 hours..

I have an electric pump for my larger tanks, and all of my tanks, but the 1 10g have sand substrate.

How do you start the siphon without the gravel vac part? I can't figure that out.

Ok how long does it take? Note to self, have a bucket to spit in and a coke nearby before w/c s on new tank. I'm going with sand so I can't use the vac part. I'll still use the bucket for that tank because I'm just going to dump out water and I'll always have a few hugs of dechlorinated water on hand.

Can we continue this another time? This is a betta thread that is being hijacked. i do not want to ignore your questions, but i do want to stick to the thread.

Ok lol. :) I wish I had a betta to show pics of.

I do. But I can't. As I don't have any. YET....
