Hi there
I'm in need of a bit of help please.
One of my tanks which at the moment is home to a zebra snail, 2 danios, 2 dalmation mollies, 3 dalmation fry (about a month old) and roughly 20 odd new fry (3 days old)...
My Zebra Danio looks like he has mouth rot and i'm scared this will spread to the the other fish. I have some medication for the mouth rot however I am concerned that it will kill the new fry. The medication says nothing about the recommended age of the fish.
Can anyone advise wether I am safe to go ahead and add the medication?? (Interpet Anti Fungus and Finrot)
Thanks!

You might be better off getting some weaker meds if you have lots of fry
Esha 2000 is safe to use with any fish and fry
Otherwise half dose or separate the sick fish and treat in another tank

Thanks
I chose to give the tank the medication after speaking to my lfs and all seems ok. Well, all fry are still ok. How long does it usualy take to notice a difference in the physical apperance of the mouth rot? It's only very small however I want to make sure I dont leave it too long without trying something else. Seen as I only put half the dosage as that's whata I was recommended. This is my smallest tank so I cant seperate the fish.

Leave it for the med's full course and check to see if the fish are still eating, swimming normally and that the mouth rot doesn't grow
If there's only a little mouth rot you probably don't need to separate the fish unless others start catching it
