{Cold larger ummm sounds good :beer: :drink: }

 you can now sit back and kind off relax for a few days will every thing settles in and the tank cycles

ps You got any pics for us yet

If you can manage to let go of that ice cold tin you have in your hand, (I know its hard but please do try) times ticking on and all your doing is sitting there staring at a tank and getting sloshed. Get the camera out woman and lets see your newly created work of art. :p

yeah, woman! lol.

Don't be too concerned about your artistic creations just yet.

It will be tweaked in the coming weeks. Then a snail will fall off and you will have to pull it apart again. At which point you will put it back together but not quite how you originally liked it. Then you will get well fed up and start all over again.

Its all good though. Any excuse to get salty arms in the first few weeks. lol

This is first attempt

Had to get my pictures on before Seffie

Had to get my pictures on before Seffie

Ah! sibling rivalry at its finest.

Ok so the way I read this is......Trod goes off to football match (some minor lower league stuff) leaving the door wide open for Seff to creep ahead of the game, only Seff decides to get sloshed (too much blood in the alcohol system if you ask me) and falls asleep. Seffie awakes, opens one eye and sees that that Trod has posted her piccies first on TFF. One nil to Trod.

Anyway Trod a nice open arrangement of rockwork there, I like it, it will look really nice when you eventually plan your coral placements,

Comon Seffie where's yours......... :book:

:thanks: BigC, yes seffie has always had slight problem but we tend not to talk about it in public

Been to LFS this morning with seffie and added some more LR, I do like it at moment but sure in a couple of days I'll be tinkering again

Yep got to agree the rock work dose look good, :good: can I just make 1 small suggestion though, the spray bar you mite want to redirect it just a little to try and stop the micro bubbles {could cause a small problem later on when you have corals ect in the tank best regards john

Picture from my phone which seems to make it look better than it is

Still waiting for my koralia pump to arrive  so am using a cheap little boyu at the mo.

Seem to have a mushroom and a white ball thingy (Trod seems to have omitted telling you that she had a big mushroom on one of her rocks - leave her to tell you!). You can see white thingy at the top of picture in the hole. Mushroom is at the bottom in the middle

ps - true, I did fall asleep and SHE did nip in

Nice rock arrangement also Seffie, you'll find all manner of organisms showing up over the comming weeks.

Both tanks are lookung good at this stage, let them cycle fully as mentioned before and then you'll be ready for your CUC.
Just take things nice and slow.

Hi, both your tanks are looking great, if was great fun reading your messages, I have just today ordered my Tank and could totally relate to how you are feeling!! Thanks for all the help too. It's so exciting, what is the next stage?

Just done first water testing
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
PH 8.2 ish
Nitrate 5

Are these results because most of the LR has come from an established tank, or can I expect them to go up in the next few days.
Got little things starting to stick out of LR. Its so exciting, can't stop looking at tank :nerd:

:hi: to the salty side. You will find lots of help and friendly banter here on the forum :good:
