I’m a sneakerhead, meaning I like collecting and wearing different shoes. It’s a culture for sure, not a lot of people understand why I own so many pairs of shoes. 😂 I also collect limited edition cereal and Funko Pops.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the shoes I own

So you’re similar to my sister. A teenager, but acts like a baby boomer.
Guess so... I like older shows. I don't know slang much and there's other things... I just don't feel like listing a bunch of stuff 😅

Get educated, google stuff. You’ll fit in better with your peers. ;)

My whole sneaker collection is worth around this:

I collect BRICKS with writings on them (construction bricks and similars). Most are historic, and the majority range late 1900's to recent, but I do have a couple thought to be from late 1800's. Most are from various states in the USA, but I do have a couple from Europe.
In the picture, part of my brick collection (right panel), next to a view of my basement aquaria. Photo is about a year old, with substantial changes and additions having occurred to tanks, bricks, and overall setup.

Better to know it and not need it, than need it and not know it.
Let me just word it this way. I'm ok with who I am. Sometimes I have my lows and want to "fit in" but everyone is different and I guess this is just me lol.

I've met brickheads, but never sneakerheads. The High School kids I taught were becoming fiercely snobby about shoes, so maybe some went in that direction once they had jobs and incomes. But that's different from what I see here.

There were some old buildings used as part of a seawall around here, and there are a lot of bricks that remind me of seaglass, in that the tides have rounded them and made them look like natural objects. I'll keep an eye out for any with writing.

I won't look for sea shoes though, as they tend to have skeletal feet in them!
