We have the Australian flag, and the indigenous Australian flag. They fly next to each other at all public events. Then if there's a state or territory, they have their own flag with the Australian and indigenous Australian flag. And if it is something to do with the Queen, we add the British flag too. The Australian flag contains the British flag (Union Jack) and the Southern Cross (a group of stars).

I'm a bit of a butterfly so don't really stick with one hobby, I like to experience lots so possibly crafting is the best name for what I do. I used to blacksmith, sugarcraft, stained glass, make jewellry, bake, draw, sea kayak. I suppose with the limited time I have currently my main hobby would be my pets. Really need to get my brain under control. My current plan is get fit again then go sea kayaking more, sea swimming more and I really really want to try kite surfing... a little water theme lol

We used to get stained glass kits back in the day. You could buy different animals, birds, insects, etc, as a stained glass kit. They had a thin metal frame and different coloured crystals. You put the frame on a metal tray and sprinkle different sections with different coloured crystals. Then pop it in the oven for a bit and hey presto, you have a stained glass butterfly, bird or whatever it was you got.

Well... Since I shut down my computer business in 2009 yet still have 2 desktop systems, an Asus laptop, a Microsoft Surface and an Apple MacBook Air that would probably count as a hobby.

Since they are all free to use by anyone I guess my three web sites could also be considered hobbies.

Then there are my radio controlled vehicles including a boat that does 25 MPH real time. The other is a truck that does ~35 MPH. Sadly I can't do air vehicles being blind in one eye as that affects depth perception and I can't really judge where air stuff is. Ground and water stuff is OK as there are close enough reference points to judge position.

I am also a media junkie with a library of over 1000.

World War 2...especially the aircraft (in younger days, volunteered on restoration of B17 and B25, flew in both for airshows)

Aviation accidents...I have studied them for over 40 years now, I get monthly reports from AAIB, NTSB and other investigative agencies around the world (inadvertently assisted in one accident investigation in 1992 and actually witnessed one happen in 1989)

I'm your basic amateur history buff - I'm into the history of almost everything. I like to trace things back to their beginnings, if possible, and then see how time and circumstance made them change - music is a big part of this for me.
Travel might be considered a hobby - restricted by circumstances now, but the planning is fun.
Fishkeeping really is the anchor though - the deep interest that has been a constant since I was 8 years old. Other activities have come and gone through my life, but that one has sat there developing the whole time.

Recently I've been enjoying this Youtube channel, I'm particularly intrigued by the 'computerized' gunsights on the WWII bombers. When my health was better, I used to fly a lot. I was lucky to have a good friend with a G-44A Widgeon where I was often the 'co-pilot', or Gilligan if we were on the water.
