On The Edge

thanks everyone!

Carl, the filter and heater has been removed to take the pics.

cheers Rye!

quick vid, the quality isn't great.

tanks looks really good. i'm liking the simplicity of it, no clutter, no mess. it is what it is.

keep up the good work

cheers Jonny, i'm gonna have to get a HD camera though.

Looks great, Ian. Love the embers. Perfect choice.

I have never looked back since my sister purchased my sony HD camera for my birthday last year. Really adds a new dimension to my photos. The files are HUGE, but worth it.

I wanna get some Ember Tetras now! :hyper: :X :S
Good job on the tank and especially that riccia :good:

cheers guys,

llj, do you have a HD video cam and take stills with it? If so is the quality of the stills as good?

I also have Riccia coming out of my ears now!

It depends, some HD cameras have a crappy sensor, usually 2MP for stills. The more expensive HDcams usually have an excellent sensor, around 10MP and most have Optical Image Stabelization, so most photos turn out great (for printing)
For posting pics on the internet, a 1MP-5MP is sufficient :look:

cheers Carl, i have down set my camera to 7mp at present, even though its a 12mp camera, i find i get better pics of my tank with a lower pixel anyway.

just been playing around with some different shaded backgrounds. Riccia has also been trimmed.
