Of Goes All Salty.....

 Seffie, 270 litres volume and its the percula 90 withback chambers.Dont think i could fit it in where the skimmer is but there are more chambers along the line.Havent fed mysis?? 30% shouldnt be a problem as money is no object to a certain degree to get this running tip top.

Also there is plenty of movement all around the tank, but maybe lower my powerheads to blow it around a bit,i do have a spare powerhead which is quite powerful too?

Oh and is it an idea to put a blanket or something to starve the light for a few days as wen i get up in the morning you cant see it as bad until the daylight and then my tanks lights later bring it out more?

i would get ontop of the phosphates. And syphon off what you can. Then if theres still bits a final push could be a day of darkness. The phos remover wants to be in an area of quite high flow in the rear chambers if possible!

what light is over the cheato? i find cheato really effective but it needs to be well lit

Is there decent flow?

Havent fed mysis??

Buy some OF and watch your fish devour it, you need to visit the frozen section of your lfs

Ok, excellent

Yep, either lower power heads or put in the extra one, don't forget to syphon most of it off first before you do the water change

Black out, will not solve the problem, as ben said, get your phosphates under control and increase the flow and bingo

Hey hey heyyyyyyy :D
Just did a phosphate test and after only a few days its gone down lotssss wooo  great news.
So hopefully im on the right path, although i never count my chickens. As Yf will tell you i have no luck in general ha.I dont know if you remember my pics from earlier in my journal that show the tank in its 1st stages but there is a mod to my tank, that is the 2 front pipes to create flow from front to rear.Ok so they arent the best to look at so what i intend to do is get small pieces of live rock and superglue them around the 2 pipes?? What do you think? I just want somwthing to improve the view and not 2 grey pipes.Any other suggestions?Actually ill add picture below, thanks.

sound like a good plan but woudnt your tank need to be empty for that

id use reef putty or reef epoxy then just push tiny bits of lr into the putty

Good thinking Bae :) never thought of that.So thats what ill do,putty is the way forward.
Thank You.........

or, if you are good with a chisel, cut a small sheet of live rock to just place in front of the pipes, put a few pieces of small lr around the back of the pipes and will then just look like two pieces of live rock just on the sand bed

Glad all your hard work paid off with the cyano, see you do have good luck sometimes :p
