Of Goes All Salty.....

Dont add the thrid clown if the two you have in there already have been together a while. The bigger new one is probably a female, but you will have one thats female already if they have been together a while. Usually you only get awya with multiple clowns if they are added all in one go as tiny juvies or in hige tanks.

Yes, drip the anenome!

Thanks Seff
Quick update im going to collect a lime green tipped bubble anemone tommorrow, should i drip it into my orca?

It's a bit early for a nem, your tank should be at least six months old. Just keep a very close eye on your water, they can't take massive swings. Also ensure all powerheads are covered

And hes also throwing in another perc clown

As Ben said, this is an absolute no, no - I tried it in my five footer with awful results, the resident pair killed the juvie before I could get it out

and a firefish+numerous hermits.

Lovely

I have 2 percs in my orca atm and was wondering if it would be ok to add the new one who is bigger than the 2 i have now??

No

Also what of the firefish?? I have a yellow striped maroon clown/fiji blue damsel/strawberry dottyback and leopard wrasse in my 290lt percula 90 is he ok in there or should he go in my orca with my 2 perc clowns?? or even give the firefish to YF??

I would put the firefish in the percula, the orca is too small (it is the 450?) for him/her imo

lol a reply before 9.30am friday would be helpful as thats when im off to collect :)

OF :good:

As for the Nem - test the water, if it is very close to your own, don't drip, put him/her straight in. Have you got the rock ready - you will need a cave with an overhang, off the sand - put your nem in the cave if you can. Ensure that the powerhead is not pointing directly at the cave. Have you bought some small frozen fish for it yet?
