One of my persians was £200 the other is a runt and was free! but i seen bengals for around £1000. :hyper:

Oh he is ADORABLE!!! Kittens are the cutest at that age

As with anything, the price of the cat depends on the quality, no matter what the breed. You can get cheap bengals and expensive persians or vice versa. I've seen bengals for $200-$300, but they were poor quality and just looked like tabbies really, no really well-defined spots.

Tooo cute  I can't help with names. My cats usually only get theirs 2 to even 6 months after I get them !

For Bengals here you'll pay on average £400 ($750) at least for a kitten from a reputable/quality breeder.

mantis147, Persians and Bengals couldn't be further apart in terms of temperament. Bengals are extremely independent and very strong willed characters. Being such a relatively newly domesticated breed, they are not anything like your average moggy and anyone who considers having this breed, should think very carefully about the fact that you will take on a kitten that still has "wild" blood coursing through it's veins. For this reason they will also find it extremely difficult to be "house" cats and given the chance will spend most of their time outdoors - where they will no doubt rule the neighbourhood. Keep a cat like that indoors (as I've found out) and you are looking for destruction and a very unhappy feline.

Sadly there are many breeders jumping on the "new and popular wish list" of kittens and breed purely for the money. So anyone considering a Bengal should do their research in-depth.

Nice answer there bloo! :good: They do look more of a wild cat, my cats wouldent last 5mins in the wild

Haha well the reason I went with a purebred cat, is I already have a Siamese cat (named Kit), and he isn't vaccinated for FIV, so I figured I'd get a cat that has a medical history and is checked by a vet and stuff, as opposed to going to a shelter and having to quarantine it. I just think the Bengal breed is beautiful :D. He wasn't THAT expensive $900 or so, and he's from a reputable breeder. Anyway, he's so adorable price doesn't matter :).

$900 Dollars!! Thats about £480 wow thats quite a bit of money in my eyes!!

Very nice kitten though, Suppose you pay for quality!
