Here is a picture of my new tank

Been up and running a week, carried over the filter from my old tank, so far all readings spot on, but doing tests every day just to check.

There is a small corner with sand for the corys and loaches.

Hiya, Its another form of Vallis apparently, my local lfs which has some cracking plants, recommended it and it's really nice, very fine, I bought 5 lots of the thin Val and 5 bunches of the normal. Mind you I've replanted most of it about 5 times, the root system on it is very fine and my loaches have taken to digging round the base of it.

Thanks for the lovely comments, I'm loving this tank, so much more than my old one. It's so much nicer having it a bit lower, at least when the little devils dig the plants up they're easy to replant, before it involved a whole world of stepladders and wet arms!!!

Nelly - am all good ta - feel another trip to DP's coming on, want some more plants, the crypts I've got aren't doing so well, so might see what lovely stuff he's got in over there. Although as it's the air festival this weekend might leave trying to drive through Bournemouth to another weekend!!!! I also managed to sell my old cabinet which is brill! How you doing? How's life in the Channa household!
