not really the manager really cares for thier fish then they would gladly accept
anykinfd of info.my petsmart manager told me that they worked very hard for top quality fishes.when i told them my molly had fungus and i wanted to know how to take care of it.the manager gave me marOxyfor freeeeeee!!!!!!!!.they said if the treatment doesnt work you can bring the fish back and get a new one.
but then again it really depends on the store.
some people will care and others wont.good luck and hope you get the job

As for the betta vase picture.... is that a bubblenest I see? hmm... weird.

Instead of "pissing off" the manager and turning people away from vases, you could give them another alternative like this beautiful 2.5 gallon that costs a lot more then the vase.

Also, those a.b.c things kind of made me think that you associate piercings and the "punk" look with stupidity. I personaly have 3, 14 gauge lobe piercings and 1, 14 gauge cartledge piercing in both ears. Oh, and they are horshoes with spikes on the end . I also wear nothing but black and have a lot of wristbands and that sort of thing and I certainly don't see myself as pet "stupid". Maybe it just came out wrong but that's what it seemed like to me.

I'm applying at petsmart too. Can you tell me a little more about what the video was like?

This is what I don't understand though. Out of the 60+ people that apply for a job, the best person they can get is a grown man who is afraid to catch you a dwarf hamster? I had to catch the thing myself. I've also seen at petco where a girl got on a ladder and instead of using common sense and puting the box in the cage then putting the hamster in the box, she tryed to grab the thing with one hand then hold the box in the air with the other then *splat* hamster fell 10 feet onto the hard floor. Why oh why do you work at a petstore if your afraid of the animals?

Someone made a good point, remember, there are other pets there so ask ahead of time not to do reptiles or rodents if you are afraid of that type of animal because you could be put on the spot and drop something .

i agree with the whole a.b.c. thing. I don't have any other piercings, but i find it like people do stereotype. Just like how i'm asian and people think i'm a bad driver. you don't know how many other bad drivers are out there that aren't asian

as for the video, its just an introduction to the store, and the different departments available. They also talk about how everytime you see a customer, you should stop whatever you're doing and welcome them into the store. They also talk about dress code and things like that. It's mostly basic rules, and what they expect from you, and what you should expect from them. There were 2 different videos, and i think in one of them they were talking about some customer that really liked petsmart. Then they also talk about taking care of their animals is important...(which is weird since i thought they showed this to all Petsmart...but from what i hear..i guess not all really do care about animals?) The most you'll spend in there is probably half an hour. BTW, which petsmart are you applying for?

Yea...i've seen those weird incidents before. I'm usually okay with anything, except snakes. My dad use to breed birds...and still does. So i'm okay with birds too. I'm generally okay with any type of pets except for the snakes. They just..make me feel uncomfortable.

i hope my manger is nice. I've seen and talked to her a couple of times, and she's pretty nice. One interesting thing about her...i found out she has a fixed up civic. I was in my car and then i looked to the left of me and... is that the petsmart manager..? And YuP! it was her since i see that car at Petsmart so many times Do you still work at Petsmart? What happens during the interview? Do you like working there so far? or did you?

i used to help my dad work there.basically all i did was help everyone with aquarium help.the manager didnt mind.i even went with the interview with my dad.i hoipe on working there someday.

I think it might be because you're female they think you're a bad driver, my b/f's a good guy but he never shuts up about how bad women are at driving!

theres actually an explanation for why girls are usually worse than guys. when guys are young, they play alot of video games, which helps there hand-eye cordanation and stuff.....while girls have a tendency to play with dolls, make up, phones, and other girly things, leaving them with less expirience in coordination. but this obviously does not apply to everyone...

Oh that's great I spent most of my childhood playing video games and I play the bass guitar (not particularly good at it though!), perhaps that'll give me an edge B)

so i'm guessing i'm one of those different people then? i hope so!! Maybe the whole video game thing explains it..i'm not sure. Maybe we shud run tests to prove that. i was always leaning towards cars rather than dolls, i dont know, maybe i'm just really weird.

my bf let me drive his car a couple times....omg...one of the times, i was approaching a stop-sign....well, i went to put my foot on the brake and accidently hit the gas! i finally got to the brake AS i was in the center of the intersection...luckily the car that didn't have a stop sign stopped anyway. probably thinkin "what the hell......???"

haha ic. What kinda car was it? My ex taught me how to drive, and i did something like that, but when i realized i screwed up, i just drove right through
