Hi!
Well I went out today, took the longest bus/subway ride i ever have, found the biggest pet store i've ever seen, and spent $100 on aquariums, food, and other fish stuff! Now this may not seem that crazy right now, but i'm a starving student and half the time i'm begging for money for bills from my mom....i put it on my credit card...so u think i can just count this as a part of student debt?? hehe
my fish were absolutely miserable, and i think the guilt i had at watching them in their misery probably outwieghs the guilt over spending the money. Whatta u guys think?

~DeX :*

ps. I got a minibow2.5 and an aquascene 1......i know the one gal is small but as u know i'm on a tight budget hehe

Well, it is a done deal so I would not worry about it anymore.

yep ... starving student here too. In the past year I went from one 1 gal betta tank to 7 tanks ranging from 1-55 gal.

But hey ... you havent really lived until you eat nothing but noodles and cheese for a week so you can buy blood worm for your spoiled little princes.

I try to think of it as an investment in my sanity and something I will hopefully be able to still have when I graduate.

Investment in my sanity! i like the ring of that! ur a genius! yeah i totally love them, and i'm so jealous of u right now!! 7 tanks! thats great!

It is hard to control ourselves when spending for our little darlings. I am not going to tell you to go do it again. Keeping oursleves in check is hard... but you did do it for the fish. I can imagine worse ways to spend the money.

thats true ral!! hehe i knew this would be the perfect place to ask about this!!
