My Seneye Review

Sent an email yesterday, this morning the site was fixed. Impressive. I ordered the Reef and Seneye+. Not sure how long it will take to arrive, but I'm excited.
 
I think its been almost two weeks since I've ordered my Seneye. Seneye has been held in delivery for over a week. I have no idea who to contact or what I can do. I tried to email Seneye about it, but no response. Getting quite frustrated, I paid a lot of money for the package and the Seneye+.
 
Did they indicate which postage system they would use. It could take a long time depending on that. If you would like me to I will ring them for you as it will only be a UK internal call. Let me know. I have spoken to them several times on the phone and found them very helpful.
 
It was through ParcelForce. According to the tracking number the package arrived in Canada early last week I believe. It's been 'held' in Canada for a week now. That would be great if you could call them for me, and very generous of you. I'm not exactly sure what all information you will need? Shipment #1600000090

I just rang Seneye - very helpful. They had a report from Canada saying that a person hadn't been at home when they tried to deliver - it may not be you. I gave them the shipment number and they're looking into it. You did buy it from them directly and not from another supplier?? They suggested to send them another emaill with your details. They didn't understand why your emails had not been replied to. Hope that's helpful. G
 
very helpful, g! They did finally email me back, so your call may have got things rolling. I did order it from them directly, and according to parcelforce the seneye hasnt even moved in Canada at all. Anyways, they seem determined to resolve it so I'm sure it will get sorted out. Thanks again
 
Glad to help. I've just moved my Seneye with a new slide into my new tank and it's going to be very helpful for the cycling process - particularly the ammonia element. I asked them when the digistrip will be available, and they're hoping to get it out by the end of the year. Also he said there will a software up-date soon which should improve the ph measurements.

You did a very nice thing! :good: I'm glad you asked them about the digistrip and they told you about the software update as I am very interested in both of those improvements. :good:
 
Hi KISSfn. In one of your earlier posts you said that you had trouble with your software crashing. You my already have seen this, but I came across it when I was looking at the Seneye web site - URL below. Right at the bottom there's a programme to download to overcome the crashing problem?????

I did try that program and it didn't work for me. It seems that with that program if you minimize the program window it stops the program instead of just minimizing the window. Since I don't want it's maximized window cluttering my desktop and covering part of the Seneye window, I uninstalled it. But I appreciate you remembering my post and trying to help me. Thanks! :good:
