its a living animal so IMO it should be sent properly

having it sent with RM isnt showing the greates care for it is it

She even said she's had fish delivered through Royal Mail (assuming thats the USAs version of USPS) before lots of times WITHOUT incident, seems to me if the fish in the past have arrived safelty with no ill effects then they were being shipped just fine.

And everyone knows - royal mail is crap! If you want something delivered late - send it via royal mail and your wish will be granted.

so what if shes had ok experiences in the past? what difference does that make? its still against the terms and conditions, basically a contract that you are signing every time you send with RM, you cannot blame them, they have done nothing wrong

why cant people just be responsible and pay out a bit more money for proper fish care?

I'm lucky as I live next door to the village PO and my postman always makes a seperate journey with any fish I may have ordered, even before he does the parcel deliveries on his bike.

It's a shame there are some people on this forum that feel they have to be so condescending. it's probably because they are perfect.

My point is they HAVE done something wrong, they did not ring the door bell, it doesnt matter what was in the parcel, you would still expect them to. Why come in a forum about betta and say that? She is only saying she is worried about the fish and people like you come in and are blaming her for it?
Royal mail SHOULD have rang the bell, thats the whole point in getting something delivered. Even if they did not know it was fish that doesnt mean they should show up and not ring the bell does it?

Looks guys, cool down. I'm not in England, so I know nothing about the situation, but this is not a flaming thread. Maybe she did something wrong, but the important thing is the fishes safety.

I think if anybody is going to post a reply should atleast write something worthwhile.
Coming in saying RM are cr@p you should of done it properly blah blah blah is a complete waste of time.
I had my fish delivered through RM the other day and they arrived in PERFECT condition and if I order more I will go through RM again.
The point is, is that this isnt Zoes fault, the bell should have been rang and it wasnt.
Like she has said if you arent going to post anything nice, dont post atall!

Hope your fish are OK Zoe, Im sure they will be fine they are hardy little fish!
