corals doing fine so far, all lvls are within ok params.

only fish i am gonna have in there are 2 clowns and a firefish.

spotted a strange thing in my tank 2day, its like a lil blob and it has about 8 tenticles, the tenticles are about 6cm long seems to grab some coral sand and yank it back to clean it bizzare!

ok i just fitted a new light tube on my tank

so now i have a tri plus tube and a actinic blie tube leather mushrooms looking v.cool :

just one question

whats the best lighting rota for my 2 tubes?
both on at the same time or staggered?

just a lil update, over the past few weeks i have added a fire fish and a black and white clown fish super cool.

would you say its best to keep clowns in pairs or does it not matter ?

kool. i did buy 2 but one died just didnt want to eat poor fella. but the other is swimming around loving the lil reef it has

been in there for about a week now. gonna add one more fish and thats a blue neon goby they look soo cool . is the any fish that would be sutable for a nano that glows under actinic light? also can anyone recomend and corals that look good under it? i have a green mushroom (that looks sweet )

My purple firefish glows so bright under actnics you can see him from the other end of the hall

Not as interesting to watch as a clown but sure is very beautiful

Neon Gobies are cool also.....Your call 8)

Pseudochromis fridmani (Magenta Dottyback/Orchid Dottyback/Scarlet Dottyback)
Pseudochromis aldabraensis (Neon Dottyback)

Both will glow under Actinic - my Pseudochromis fridmani can be seen from the other side of the room with just the Actinics on

lil update.

got a few more lbs of LR
stocked it with a firefish and a black and white clown
also got some polyp's and z's
also got a nice little shrimp in there.

will try and get some pics for ye tomoz

all lvls are fine and the corals are growning like mad!

thinking of adding some live rock rubble to my external filter.

oh and my skimmer is only on during the day (that way i can sleep at night ;D )

no 1 clown and 1 firefish oh and a shrimp. was gonna add a blue neon goby and maybe a boxer shrimp.

redid the aquascape from the last pics, i think it looks more natrual now loads of caves for my firefish and shrimp

thx m8 was a very bumpy start, but turned out quite nice. just wondering where the best place to add a sacrophyton is. any ideas?

Yes... Just about anywhere you want. As long as they have some light and some flow they're usually fine. Hard to kill, ask aquascaper
