My First Real Planted Tank

this is what I had in mind dude

Poo!!!

Sorry couldn't help myself -_-

The glass is so scratched in my tank I'd never notice anyway!

I'm trying to limit my outbursts these days but sometimes I fail!

You could do with your wood what they do here when they sell a piece. Take a piece of slate, drill a hole in it in the middle, then screw your wood onto the slate. In this way it will be self standing.

just like in this link: http://www.amazon.com/Large-Natural-Driftwood-Slate-Base/dp/B003BF4E9E

Interesting! I'm going to order a 6 pack of driftwood and hopefully at least one fits the bill, but ill move the wood over today or tomorrow whenever I do the w/c. :hyper:

Biulu. You never fail to amaze me with your knowledge :p You ALWAYS have a good answer.

Maybe lean it against another piece of wood?

Alright! Here's alittle picture update!

Guppies are looking niiice! And yeah, you really need that BN in there lol, also, go ahead and cut that dead leaf off bud, it'll make new growth come in quicker

Bn ain't for this tank, but will be getting another one Monday. Hopefully will be a male and female but one in here and the other in my main tank. Ok I'll just cut it.

Aww, my guppies brothers and sisters!!! They look just alike too, I can totally see the resemblance. The wood looks much better. How'd you manage to grow all that algae?

With 26 watts of light, 1 plant, and 9 hours of light a day it's pretty easy!
