My Angel LAYED HER EGGS!!!!!!!!!&#

No, they aren't eating the white ones or the other ones :dunno:

I went to my LFS this afternoon and bought a real tank divider......phew!! It looks sturdier and NO CRACKS! I doubt the fry could slip through the little flow holes that are all over the divider either, maybe right at first, but I heard they stick together in clouds first??!! :S

Still waitin'for something to happen!!!

I'm wondering if I could let the father out of the "breeding area" ??? Any thoughts on that!!?? :/

ive never had angels but have considered even though id never have a big enough tank.

arent the eggs suppose to turn like a tannish.. oh nvm thats puffers.

yeah i think the cloudy eggs are the fungus'd ones and the clear ones are unfertilised... im not sure about the unfertilised p[art though

Hi silver!
I found a website you may want to look at. Here is some of the info...

What happens during the first week?

IF THE EGGS ARE FERTILE:
Day 0: Eggs spawned in streaks, are clear or translucent.
Day 1: Some infertile eggs turn white.
Day 2: More eggs turn white, wiggling tails emerge from clear eggs. Some white eggs may get fuzzy.
Day 3: Tadpole shape forms with large yolk sack, fry remain stuck to the slate.
Day 4: Small eyes form.
Day 5: Eyes grow large, yolk sack shrinks. Start brine shrimp hatchery.
Day 6: Some fry are free swimming.
Day 7: All free swimming, time to start feeding.

You can follow these changes with a strong hand lens and strong light. If all the eggs are infertile, they will turn white and get fuzzy from fungus attack after a day or two.

Looks like clear eggs may be good!?!?!

I found it here...

Thank you SO much for caring Mesome and following my thread!!!
You're very sweet! :*)

I thought that the white ones were the fungus ones so I'm glad to hear that, but I'm worried that if they don't start eating the white ones that the fungus will spread.....I've heard of that happening!!

We'll see.......it's been roughly 60 hours now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gad, I've gotta go check again!! :S

the white isnt a fungus its just dead eggs most likely because of improper fertilization. how long has it been already?
