Mudskipper................parished

you know im glad i live in north america! where we all can have tanks under 16!

Well I guess if you put it into perspective of say someone has a fish and allows it to just carry a awful disease because they can't be buggered getting it treated and it dies is worse than a mudskipper dying somewhat instantly by falling to the floor than it suffering.

it took three days for him to die, it wasnt instantly....i wished it wuz though

I was going to call you a troll because you sound like one, but I realize you're probably not since you did post pictures of your bruised (now dead) mudskipper.

I do have to echo the thought that maybe a mudskipper isn't the fish for you, and that there probably should be some sort of minimum age to buy fish without your parents.

There was somebody on this site that thought everybody was a troll. I don't think it was you, but don't prove me wrong :sly:

The mudskipper died because of one mistake. If the fish is not held again (or at least when inside the tank) then I thin it would be a fine idea to try mudskippers again as they are a wonderful fish.

I still think that the "no fish to people under 16" rule is a pile of crap. I find that the people most likely to harm fish are college kids anyway (you know, those gruesome rituals such as swallowing goldfish  ) .

most kids under 16 wouldn't be unaccompanied in the US anyhow, because they can't apply for a driver's license until then anyhow.

I've no comment to make about the rights and wrongs of selling fish to under 16's or handling mudskippers but the thing I find really weird is why would anyone who knows what they did was unacceptable and wrong would want to post it for all and sundry to see on a forum? Bit like the Tricia show imho. :/

In England, you can take your theory at 16, and get a license by passing your practical at 17. [and drink when your 18!!] :D

It's different in each state in america, or so I thought? But the general age for acquiring a license is 16? [can't drink till your 21!] :X
