Mountain Bikers

that looks like a tidy little bike mate, get those skinnies off there though!

there are quite a few places to go mountain biking round london, if you are near there Epping Forest is supposed to be pretty good

i made the mistake of going on fleabay last night, i've gone and bought myself a Specialized Big Hit frame to build into a freeride bike

haha.. yup-- the tyres are for commuting to work :)
i've heard of epping before-- we try hampstead forest
and it's okey-- although i've got a nasty fall
cause i didn't bother changing the tyres.. :D

whooaaa-- HT-frame
i've been planning to buy a FeltRXC Team frame for quite sometime
a bit expensive though-- are you familiar with wiggle.co.uk
i'm getting all my stuff through them--
nice site and i've got a luxury of 10% per item being
a Platinum member-- :D

for now- i'll stick around with my dodgy Landrover G4 :D
need to save first-- i've been spending in the new hobby-- "FISH" :D

:good:

lol im not supprised you fell off on those tyres

the Felt RXC is a lovely frame, would make a hel of a XC blaster ;)

Wiggle are great, i get loads of kit from them. they are one of the best places for clothing although i tend to use chainreactioncycles.com for my components.

Mountain biking is my main hobby so i do tend to spend a fair amount of cash on it.

i now have the Big Hit frame and i've started to build it up

just got the handlebars, brakes, cassette, chain and gearcable to fit, i should have it all up and running ready for the weekend :D

Haha, since I last replied here, my bike has changed a bit, the m1 frame has gone to make way for the latest incarnation:

well over the summer I got a job at my local bike shop which was awsome and I got to build up a new bike
I am now riding a banshee morphine with rock shox domains spinning on my single tracks with k rads
I spent only 1600 on it but it is worth over 2700 as I got the discount at my bikeshop :shifty:
I love it so much and Im going down trails I never thought I would as my 5 foot drop turned into a 15 foot :D

I currently have 2 bikes:
GT Avalanche Pro (Kinesis tubeset), with full XT kit, Reba's & DT 5.1D rims on Pro II's.
Old pic below as it now has a Gravity Dropper & EA70 bars
