Hi boromale2008 :)

Welcome to the forum! :hi:

I've moved your thread to the Hardware and Do It Yourself section. The members who post here know a lot about various tanks and accessories and are also good at figuring things out. I hope they can help you.

Is it the third tank down on this link?

yes it is the third tank down on the link.thanks for moving it,i didnt know where to put it.

I have one of those tanks too - u can buy genuine filters for about a tenner or just buy big chunks of media and cut them to fit (which i do).

I use the large open blue juwel filter sponge cut to fit in the biowheel (two round discs of course, about .5in thick) and first half of the filter bed (nearest the pump end - this is about 1.5x.75x3in from memory) and then finer white sponge in the second half of the bed - i did think about putting a few ceramic rings in there too but havent yet and its been running fine for about a yr.

As far as i know the biowheel is a very important part of the filter in this tank so make sure it turns freely and is the pump is turned up enough to keep the wheel moving.
