Fishkeeping Profile...Currently have an Aquael Econoline 70 which holds 80 litres of water. Also have an Arcadia Arc 35l tank which, without substrate holds 30l of water and is used as a quarantine/hospital tank.

Favourite fish species...Hard to say - possibly GBR's and Harlequin Rasbora courtesy of their colour (other halfs choice)

Favourite LFS...I don't have one. We have two LFS within easy reach of us that have the same name and both give contradictory advice. Out of the other 6, possibly Reef2Rainforest in Clacton.

Aquatic Likes...Happy, healthy and thriving fish.

Aquatic Dislikes...Bettas in teacups!!!!!

Aquatic Achievements...None as yet - apart from keeping the fish alive!!!

Non-fish related fact...I'm a retired policeman and part time coach driver.

Hi I'm new forum member, I am from Macedonia,i dont knew nothing for fish,recently(for my dother's birthday) we got 3 fish one is black moliy , other is like Her but orange and the third is a greyish white I keep them in a small round aquarium ,can they live like that?! how often i should change the water?Can you help me with their care, give me some advice and tell me what kind of fish is orange in September plan to make an aquarium withpump and other things they needthanks

It's not an aquarium, it's a bowl, and no, they can't live like that. You should change at least half the water twice a day using dechlorinator and temperature matched water. The two I could see both look like mollies. If you can take them back to the store, please do so. They need lots of room to swim around, some kind of substrate (gravel or sand), a heater, thermometer and a filter that will take several weeks to establish the proper media to take care of ammonia and nitrite.

You should wait until you get the actual aquarium before keeping any fish.
