Making A Light

i picked up a free tank today at the tip and it has a plastic lid, with what they label as a bracket for fitting a light??

can anyone recommend to me how to to fit a small light to the lid, or where i can get one which just needs screwing on.

Arc pods don't work with a hood though. At least, I didn't think so?

How big is the tank- i.e, what sort of space is available for a fitting?

Can the arc pod be attached to one of these really crap thin plastic hoods? I need a light for a hex tank and the hood is crap.

Arc pods are the best! They look great and are good for tanks your size. Make sure is the larger £20 model.

i bought the 11w arc pod today, but it comes with no screws to attch it to the lid so i am a bit annoied so i have to find some now

go to wickes and get some, screws about a quid, always handy to have around, but it comes with the bracket
