Is it safe to just leave it stuck in the tank? I just got into the habit of leaving it on the side out of visibility.

Will this harm the fish at all? Dunno if they're sensitive to magnetic fields :dunno: ...or if this is bad for the scraper or the glass?

I woudl assume that it would cause too much algae to get stuck onto it and would eventually stop working. Just my opinion. not really sure

It should be fine, I leave mine permanently parked in a corner of each tank :)

Yeah - I've had my scraper attached to my tank non-stop for about 3 years. It does have a bit of algae on it, and has lately been slightly less effective than normal, but overall has caused no problems at all, and certainly not to the fish!
