Cool photos - and now I know I have a white sailfin molly and not a sailfin platy as sold to me by petstore. Never thought it looked right with the longer body shape and now I know for sure. What a pity I must go and buy it some like types to keep it company

wow tokis your Black tuxedo female looks exactly like my female guppy dory, mine died the day after christmas though
But all her babies are going well i'll try get some pictures later, if i can get them to stay still.lol

ROFL.. now I feel like a complete newbie
I thought my platies had an obesity problem! ..
Or maybe I have balloon platys?
I'll have to get some pics and post them. I bought 3 males and 5 femles about a year ago, and the off spring from these have produced a wide selection of colours/strains.. twin bar mickey mouse / coral mickey/ blues silvers /wag tails.. it goes on.. but the most suprising was a batch of orange wag tails that turned out huge. All from the same batch of fry and all females.. Balloon platy.. or are they just greedy pigs with a compulsive eating problem. They look like cartoon platy.. all round body with short stubby head and fins.. its bizarre .. ** goes off to get camera to take a pic or 2**...

well i will try to get my pics up as soon as i can but mean while nice pixs ya all .. well i am getting 100 dollars from my moms tax money she got this weekend and puting it towerds fish shtuff like plants fake plants more fish more decorations so i will get a pix after im done which will be in a couple of weeks so thats all and nice pics ya all

Unfortunately my Hifin platies suffered teething problems(three died on transfer, not surprising giving the delicate strain(drip acclimatised over 5 hours with heater and aeration) died within 5 days), but i still have my red hifin gold mickey mouse, my sunburst twin bar, a hifin blue mickey mouse, sunset, blue mickey mouse, plus alotta progeny yet to show their true colours. Such is life in exotic species. Will edit in pictures as soon as i can get the school to stop moving
