My six-year-old asks, "how do scientists make babies?"
Er... the same way as everyone else does, I guess

Well, some do, but others use test tubes and stuff like that.

He seemed to be under the impression that all babies are assembled like machines by scientists.  He was asking how they put the blood into the babies bodies.  I don't know where he gets this stuff from.
