I keep toying with the idea of urau or true parrot, but both seem quite elusive to find. I have to work out my tanks again now because Tinker & Tailor (2 oscars) have gone home I now have Tigger (minxy's other oscar) he is easier to work with re-stocking because he is such a pudding

they have got some great looking and large Uarus in at wharf aquatics. really nice healthy looking fish too

Have you considered a Chocolate Cichlid - gorgeous fish, grow around 12", generally peaceful but capable of standing up for themselves.

yeah Nelly was pointing me towards these but ive never seen one close up and from pics and vids etc im not 100% convinced. maybe if i saw one my mind would change

yeah ive been a few times and was dissappointed to be honest, quite expensive too.

im collecting the 2nd jaguar catfish tomorrow for this tank, ill get pics up as soon as im home from work

as promised i have a few pics of the jaguar catfish i got today. hes a bit of a fatty and has half a pectoral fin missing but still a great fish, at least i will tell the 2 apart and at £15 a good deal for a 5 inch jag

also 1 more for star as i know she likes rotties

diadema and gold sev

just to add the new jag went straight into the other cats den and there was a really strange noise..... almost like a buzzing kind of faint horn sound i guess they were saying hi to each other

im not sure..... ive read that the females grow a bit smaller and are fuller but i dont know if this one is just fat as they are no where near fully grown the size thing cant really be checked

I dont think your Rotkeil is a true Rotkeil, the markings are so different, its more like a Heros appendiculatus or even Heros sp. Santarem. If this link works, have a look as I am not sure myself, its still gorgous though
