Ludwig, they are beautiful ( not ugly!! ) thankyou for the pics, i know ive been nagging just a wee bit :)

Turbo looks like a clone of one little monkey i know.. he jumped too

how big is turbo.. just asking as his tail fins seem to be quite big, jambos dont quite touch yet,
Jambo is just getting his " puffy gills" - u know what i mean, that bit under his mouth that puffs out .. they are really getting ..well.. puffy lol, and the most stunning pearlised colours. green.yellow,white.. hes growing so much just latley and hes doing diffrent things too, at night time he will swim over the the sofa side and swim up and down the tank, showing the whites of his eyes as he looks around,, he is so beautiful.ill have to get some new pics up soon, hes to georgous to keep to myself :)

shelagh xxxx

yes thats about the same size as Day Day and his fins touch/overlap.. ( white one) maybe jambos fins are just daft , like him

Turbo is awesome :good:. Somehow Pumba has managed to stay inside his tank... but has on 3 occasions scared himself silly by landing on the adjacent glass cover and flipping himself back into the tank quickly.

Right now he is hunting bubbles.... he got some long awaited guppies today after eying them in the quarantine tank for over a week. now anything in the tank that looks even remotely like it could be food is being stalked and attacked. I'm scared that my bubbler itself is going to be the next victim

ive been thinking of giving my pair a couple of young platys but i just cant bring myself to put them in the tank. i want rid of some as i have far too many (coming up to 200 platys ranging from 3 week to 6 months) tried selling tried giving away but no one wants them. they woiuld be great as feeders but i just cant do it. :(

does anyone here stroke their oscars?? i was watching a youtube clip last night of a man and his oscar, it was really like a puppy, the guy just goes over and strokes it, and this oscar wiggles and shakes like an over excited dog.

i wouldnt dare put my hands in with these two, they'd take my fingers off!!

how would i go about getting them 'hand tame?' or is it dangerous (damage to their coat or scales)

id love to be able to put my hand in the tank without fear of losing some fingers!

im sure they were pirahnas in a former life..............

or crocodiles.................
