my pair are doing great, there taking to attacking the reflection again and redecorating there tank themselves

just got back from my LFS and guess what hes got in there??......LEMON OSCARS. talk about stunning ,about 3 inches.
so if anyone has a spare tank is passing Dundee anytime soon..please get back to me


only kidding, but i am gutted to say the least, they are ever so beautiful,and goodness knows when i`ll see them in there again, im searching like an idiot lately,to get a big enough tank to get that pair of albinos, now i have another mission.. to find one before all the lemons sell.

Pumba is still in tip-top shape after his whole ordeal and is the cheekiest little O. Poor plec cannot graze anywhere without Pumba letting him know where he is not allowed in the tank .

A couple new pics:

and the plec that has to put up with Pumba's antics

can see some of the tears in his fins from Pumba..... ... he's just like a puppy that cannot help himself. That top fin looks too tempting i guess

When was the last time a new member asked for a number? lol. Certainly couldn't be that we scared everyone away, right?

i was trawling through my PB last night getting rid of some old pics and i came across the ones of Waldorf and Statler right after we rescued them, aw i was crying 'cause they just looked so pale and miserable

compared to now....

pumba is one of the best looking oscars ive ever seen, his marking are beautiful...
what a massive diffrence spishkey, you have done such an incredible job with them

i think the plec in jambos tank has a radar.. cos he runs like hell when jambo is about to approach him, and yes his fins are tattered too, they dont fight all the time, just when jambo gets bored think he sees him as a toy.

Thanks I'm interested to see how his markings turn out as he ages. The pleco usually gets beat up at random.... it doesn't really seem like an aggressive thing. More of a "What are you doing here?.... hmm.... what happens if i bite you? OH! You move!!! Fun!"

I'm at work at the moment and i don't have pics of my O (his/her name is Turbo) with me so i don't know if i qualify for a number but i'd like one. i'll put up some pics tonight. I've only had him for about 3 months and he's already grown at least 3-4 inches so i guess he's doing good even tho he has jumped out of the tank more than once at feeding time. tho he hasn't done that in a couple weeks now so maybe he learned something from the last time.

anyone? where are we on numbers . Turbo is a great name! I had a snail that I named turbo..... he was errmmm... very deserving of such a name . When I was a little kid I always wanted to name all of our new pets Turbo. Parents were never too keen on that name.

This has turned more into a looney bin topic for Oscar nuts than an oscar club

waldorf laid eggs again last night but statler ate them straight away theres 2 left that he cant reach but im guessing as he cant reach they wont be fertilised either, *sigh*
