Not ANOTHER one! Stop it. The thought of having two Pumbas is too tempting and you're not helping! Of course I would need an entirely different tank, as Pumba has turned into a devilish little oscar.

he was re-homed Dave, dom`t listen to him!
what happened was.. suddenley jambo turned on Buddie( quite a bad attack) and i didnt have the cash at the time to get a new tank for him,he went to a lovely guy that still sends me pics of him once in a while,and is doing great,really got his confidence back

as they were both so young,it wasnt the physical injuries that were the worst it was the fact that Buddie lost all his confidence,and started staying in the corner ( really broke my heart) to see) Jambo did give him a few injuries tho, particulary bad to the gill area, so i put him in a 100L and treated him, with lots of water changes and rehomed him about 2 weeks later when he was much better

just a lil update,D-bo is settling in fab he does that "puppy" thing wagging his tail when he sees me approach the tank ( quietly chuffed as hes not been here long) tho i have to say,hes very gutsy.. everytime i feed him, he bites me, like hes never seen food before or not likely to see again but he was in a tank with about 30 others ( yes i wanted to bring the whole tank home)so i guess that explains that
he looks lovely and healthy and i really chuffed with my choice ( i wouldnt normally be impressed by a man on his knees begging!!) but heres hoping he turns out to be a lovely friendly oscar ( when he realsies the food will keep coming) and not a scheming little swine like Jambo ((i love that fish sooooo much, naughty or not

price depends on size and store really, D-bo cost me a tenner + a diet coke and a red bounty ( dont ask) jambo was one of a pair (£40) Blade was only a fiver,and Day-Day was £30, but i can honestly say i would have paid the asking price even if it had been tripled on all of them, as they are all the ones i chose out of the tanks ( rather than just an oscar)
but saying that theres a pair of fully grown tigers in the lfs for £95 and a pair of albinos for £150,and if i can find a big tank before they sell i will be bringing the albinos home, they are absolutley stunning, i go in and stand and drool over them every single day,although i have seen them fighting in the tank, they dont appear to have a single scar/mark on either of them,simply stunning, twice the lfs owner has said " shelagh..you want me to bag `em up for you??"- teasing me, cos he knows i havent got another tank he`ll fall over the day i say .."yes please stu! " ( in my dreams )
the fish are the cheap bit its the food,snacks and treat that cost a fortune, i had to laugh, not long after i got Jambo my ex turned up at the house while i was defrosting prawns for him, and made a comment to the effect of "you never fed me prawns, but nothings too much for those bloody fish" being jelous of another man i could understand, but a fish !!!
right i had better stop yapping and get on with these tanks ( sat is cleaning day) oooh joy!! wonder what treat Jambo has in store for me today

its tank cleaning day here too lol! we are pulling the oscars out and into buckets today (and the cats) and stripping the tank of decorations, brown algae has covered everything so its a thourough clean today. gonna do a 50% water change too i think then start on the community tank.
the other tanks we'll do tomorrow as this will take all day and i have to work tonight!
