Jack's Marine Adventure!

ahhh but did you get work done on the railway?

thank you :)

camera is on the blink...but i hope to get a new one on my birthday...so pics will come then...surprisingly aquascaping is the same...i may have changed it slightly but the thought of a starved isopod put me off

im going to see if i can buy a load of RO water tomorrow and do a big WC ive been doing 10% every 2 weeks in the fallow period...you may slate me but all stats have remained perfect.

once ive done the big WC i will up feeding a bit each day and work it up to normal until saturday...then i can get my clowngoby (be it green or yellow...or both  ) but not at the same time obviously

im going to sound like a real piloc here...but i miss freshwater

time for a rethink :/ might mean another tank if the mother will allow lol

 Mind you, you havn't had much luck with Marines thus far. I think when your luck changes and you get some fish in there, your idea(s) will change back again

heres a pic...as you can see...a reet bloody mess. its just brown algae though...easy to shift...just need a magfloat.

doing a WC later so will attempt to remove some of the algae...and that stuborn coraline...i might take one of my razor blades to it.

i just need a new pair of gloves as the salted water ate through the other pair

the rocks are looking really nice though...loads of coraline...Hundreds of feather dusters i didnt know i had...I break up on friday which also happens to be my birthday so i will nip into maidenhead on the way back and reserve some stock...they may be expensive but im not making the same mistake as last time..."buy cheap buy twice"

anyway...this time im looking to get:

A clownfish pair black and white maybe.
A Red firefish
an orchid dottyback
A yellow clown goby
A green clown goby

ill come back with pics later of when ive attempted to clean it up a bit

So where is this pic?

Sounds like a good selection of fish to me  Just one question, are clown gobies safe together? I'm not saying they aren't, I'm just saying I don't know enough about them :p

All the best

the two clown gobies are different colours so should be fine...i know jen has done it and normally clown gobies are very placid

I like your fishlist :D

I've got more than one coral goby in my 155L and they came from my 90L nano and lived happily together, so I think you'll be ok with your tank :D

Oh my! That is rather a lot of algae... Least it's the type that comes off easily :good:
i got rid of some of the brown algae today...its only on the glass and i have a little green spot and coraline algae on the glass too...PITA much?

anyway...once im confident i can put my hand in the tank without it being mauled by the isopod it will be gone!

hi truck gd to see you back

why not get the clown gobys at the same time

regards scott
