I've Found Heaven On Earth

glad to see ppl not putting up with the hostility no need for it on a forum like this, the pm system is for the harsh disagreements dont air it in public!

Try and get some pics of the actual fish please and i completely agree with Caboose 122 about the forum it is too true but cant wait to see pics ps if yo dont believe what he is saying then why post a reply?????

I hadn't... up until now. However, maybe people post for the sake of all the novice fishkeepers who might be taken in?

Now, having said that, I'm sitting well and truly on the fence. Theoretically, this is possible. BUT (and this is a big but), whether it is true in this particular case still remains to be seen...

I'm simply patiently awaiting the photos.

Wow, someone's got man-PMS.

Just answer me one question chukka. If this is all true then why are you bothering so much in answering everyone's skeptical question? Surely if this was all true you would just ignore it and not care what people say?
However, that said. I was little stupid yesterday with that post. I still don't particularly believe it but none the less I shouldn't have posted like that. I've had the worst week of my life and even my fish aren't making me feel better at the moment so anything and everything is getting me wound up. However, after a night of heavy drinking last night I feel more positive so... sorry man.

Hey good on ya mate! not to many appoligies on the forums.....but still....

Chuka, I suggest going out and getting a Large Fishing net from Walmart or something, the kind with an extendable handle.... you could drop some food in those things and extend them out like 10ft to catch a few larger ones for pictures...... just my idea

also you may want to pick up a bag of bread or something to attract them all for netting/pictures and so forth.... bread would probably be a bit cheaper then a dish of fish food....

First time i have looked into this thread...haven't read every page but from the bits i have....

grow up people that are name calling and basically calling him a lier! "innocent until proven guilty" - some people need to take note of that saying.

Its like saying you buy fish from a shop 20mile away were their water parameters are different eg. high nitrates, hgih PH and then you bring them home to your tank were the ph is maybe 1 lower and nitrates different....lets face it these fish originate from different parameters all over the world....fish adapt just like us humans

Let the guy have a day or to to get photos

Will a photo of me with a sign as described above be enough for most of you skeptics? If not, let me know a more convienent way that doesn't involve me buying a newspaper or writing messages with rocks. (they were both good ideas however). Do I need to call someone you trust from the forums, light a huge fire that makes the news (just kidding) or get a video? Would that be convincing??? A video? I have a digital camcorder, but havn't tried to post movies on the net yet. Can you do it through photobucket? Well thanks again for all the supporters and even the doubters for all your great responses and interest.

No need for sarcasim, but actually i think a photo would help convince a lot of the skeptics here, its hardly a lot of effort to do either. People won't know the location of the spring just because you take a picture of it, that would be like me saying people will find out what town i live in because i take a photo of my pond and post it here etc, which is ridiculous.
All you would need to do is put an object like a shoe/fish net/fluffy toy etc in the picture before taking it so we know it is yours, and then people will stop hassling you   .

I believe he meant the newspaper would give away the location... such as the name of the paper it's self.... The New Yorker... thus New York, The Boston Globe, Thus Boston... Etc... Or maybe the head lines would say "Local house Burns down" (someone suggested the headlines be in a picture) people would google that phrase and then know by reading the story, where the house was local to, once you have a state or even city, it probably wouldn't be all that hard to figure out where the springs were... It was mentioned above that there were articles written about this place...

Sounds awsome... however I'm still a little skeptikal, a few pics would change my mind though

Does the USA not have national newspapers........
I thought, for example, new york was quite big?
Like beyond the point of locating a pond based on the little info provided so far?

Some news papers extend a bit further than the region they are in, or even the state in soem cases, but for the most part, they are pretty much state dependant. Yet another thing the UK has on us in the US
