He's still very very sulky and only just popped out to have a look at the simpsons on tv and then legged it back in his cave (erm, pot more like). He's also doing the pale flush thing quite well.

Named Tigh after Saul Tigh, a character in Battlestar Galactica who was a chronic alcholic and cranky at best, thought it quite fitting as every time i've seen this fish in the LFS it was badly mannered and grumpy :p

seems he has a TV habit already, he's watching eastenders from beside his pot

its true they do watch TV.. Jambo used to settle in the tv side of his tank, was very happy.. if i sat on the sofa then he would come over and sit by his mummy ... awww

my guys hate to watch telly, except for nature programs,,,,esp loves watching fish prog
honestly, they have back to tv, swim round and round, but if iam watching sharks or someting similar they are focused<glued to the tv
maybe there learning sharks sneaky tricks,

He seems to get paler the nearer the surface he gets, almost reacting to the light... that normal? Quite bizzare!

yes i noticed this when i changed jambos tank, he went really pale, hes fine now tho, maybe i made hime nervous just for a change  is he sulking or getting on with it?? the little ones tend not to i find, blade is like a little dog, he wags hisself when he wants food, gets really excited.. so cute, maybe hes too small to have learnt fear

he's not really sulking, more nervous it seems. He did hide for a little bit but he's out and about. He met the pleco earlier and that defo scared him lol, seems he's a bit of a wimp at the moment but no doubt he'll get his own back hehe :p

He should go back to black when he's chilled out though yes?

Yup. He'll go back to normal. My guy was pale for a few days and then settled.

Can't wait to see some more pics of him. Something about the movement and colors on TV's must attract them.

yeah oscars are known to sulk for up to a week at times. They are also stubborn fish to say the least. But as soon as he realizes that you are a source of food your gonna get tried of him/her constantly staring at you doing the feed me dance. Congrats and your tiger O s/he'll soon grow up to be a lovely brute.
