haha! I've always wanted the Aponogeton Crispus, I can't put any in my 75g because it is S. American. I dunno what I'll do as of now. Gotta get everything planted I guess.

If there was something wrong with those fish, what should I do to get rid of whatever may have caused their flashing? I don't think just running it empty and adding ammonia would get rid of whatever it was. I could turn up the heat and salt the tank?

I am not getting the C. sychri, they were insanely expensive, and then I found out that Frank "coryologist" didn't end up buying them because they were listing incorrectly.

I did get some plants today. I am annoyed at the quality of some of them. I tryed a new online store and some plants were great and others weren't at all.

ugly bacopa.

I've been screwed over by 2 separate plant sellers. One sent me dying vallis, offered to replace it, then stopped returning my emails. The other sent me dying Alternanthera reineckii and then hasn't retuned my emails.

A good note, my fish are coming tomorrow.

10 Albino cories :hyper:
4 yellow pingu guppies
8 kuhli loaches
2 assassin snails

I haven't decided on a center piece fish here yet. I will be adding the red bristlenose here, but not until a month from now. I am keeping all separately ordered fish apart for a month to observe.

Them guppies are very cool. I'll be ordering another 3, asking for all females, then after that I'll have 2 males 4 females. The single assassin I have is really cool. I found a boat load at my local petco for 50¢ :hyper: what a steal! Apparently an aquarist brought them in along with, pond snails apple snails and nerites. The nerites are $1.50, but still a good deal.

:D Yay! I got some fishes! 8 of the 19 rummynoses died in transit. All the others made it with minor problems. A few of the cories have fin damage, but thats common when shpping fish.

And omg! The khulis are babies!! They are only 1 inch long and too cute.

Wow that's really surprising! All 21 of my espeis (He threw in 1 extra for me!) arrived alive after 3 days in a box, so I'm unsure why that many rummys died. :rip: I guess it was a few died so then the ammonia killed the others.

1 of my espeis did however die the day after they all arrived. Other than that though was is good.

At least you're pleased with everything else!

Also thought yours would be better since mine came cross-country and you were so much closer to him.

Yeah there were three bags of them and a few dead per bag...it happened yesterday at least because they were disintegrating. Espeis seemed very much more hardy to me then tetras ever did. I was nervous to try any type of tetra. I am liking these alot so far.

Yes he shipped my espeis in 3 bags as well with 7 per bag. Not sure if he miscounted though because the bags were marked x7, x7, and x6 but all bags had 7 so I was pleased and I ended up with 20 anyways so I was happy :D

I can see how these guys would be hardier than tetras.

I still like Bob's. Sometimes fish don't make the trip. I'll see what he says about it. I was planning some more order from him next month anyway so I'll get some more rummys.

I do as well. You should take a look at his fish room! It's on the home page of his site. It's epic!

Also saw he's got a few externals up for sale. Might buy one if they're still for sale once I'm back from vacation. :hyper:

Bad news folks. The Rummynoses are in bad shape. Their waterr was very foul when they got here and I think they have ammonia burns on their sides. I took some video for the emergency section to see if I should give it a few days. I made sure to get a cory or two for fun. Don't watch this is you are prone to seizures.

Really. Don't.

plants look super healthy! :good:

as for the rummy's...that looks a little fungal to me.
