So sorry to hear the terrible trauma your little kitten has had to endure. I absolutely HATE guns. I have three kids, aged almost 8 years, 6 years and 4 years old. I refuse to allow them to have any kind of toy gun in this house. Coming from South Africa and all the gun violence we have there, we didn't want the kids to grow up here thinking carrying a gun around was OK.

I really wish they'd ban all these silly "toys" and allow proper punishment for these kinds of situations. How will they ever learn, if they're only warned or fined for seriously injuring and sometimes killing living things? Most of the time, the victims are made to feel more guilty for what has happened.

Makes me sick. Just hope and pray that we are able to teach our kids some common sense and prevent them from doing these kinds of disgusting things.

i dont care what parents have to say guns are guns plain and simple..both types launch projectiles at rapid speeds noone uner the age of 21 should be able to even touch a gun as far as the kids that shot the poor lil kitty id string them all up the the very skin they sit on and beat them with a large blunt object or shoot them in the ass with a c02 pellet rifle even some adults shouldnt even own em...

I honestly don't think anybody should be allowed to own a gun unless for security purposes. (e.g.; policeman or living in a dangerous area) I mean, what can you do with it? Shoot for fun? If you're in police training, sure, but just as a hobby.. What's that going to accomplish? All it's going to do is piss off your neighbors and be a waste of time.

i don't understand how anyone would want to try and hurt an animal...i over heard this one boy in my class talking about how his dad shoots the birds off their roof and then i overheard him saying how his father will occasionally shoot the cats that come into his yard with a bb gun! i cant believe how careless people can be

awwww the poor thing, last xmas the kids over the road from us all got bb guns and the whole road was littered with the pellets for months, they're fire them at cars, pets, anyone walking past.

Problem is the BB pellets the poster is referring to is a 0.177" brass ball bearing shot by an air-rifle/pistol about 100x as powerful as the 6mm plastic BB guns we get over here!

Actually competitive shooting is very popular. And you'd be surprised how much fun shooting at a target can be, I know I was. Everyone that I know that is dedicated to the hobby is responsible, just like any other hobby, however there are always those people who don't have any respect for themselves or those around them.

My old math teachers son got shot with a metal BB and it got stuck next to his lung.
If they remove it his lung will cavein so they encased it with somthing and left it in.

I know it's popular, take it from someone who lives next to shooters. It's hell over here when they do it. While I don't think I'd like it, I respect other people do.. but between insane people parking in the middle of our road, yappy Boston terriers, screwed up juvies, they're the least of our worries.
