I went down the path of converting a cabinet with my project ordered the sump yesterday here is my journal

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=299257

Its pretty easy conversion I just went for a drilled hole in the bottom will drill a hole in the back to feed the spray bar looks very neat well i think it does anyway ;)

Thats some great colours on the camera mine always seem a bit duller but reading up on the photo guides at moment to improve my photos I suspect its more me than the camera

Wow - that rock lookings amazing :good:

a word of caution - no xenia is worth it if it has aiptaisia on - i would say get the frags out before the b****** have a chance to spread and ditch the xenia or get a small container with salt water, heat and pump, put the frags in there and treat the rocks only putting them back in after at least a couple of weeks of seeing no aiptaisia

Hi Seffie,

Thanks. It doesn't look too shabby. Its a bit boring at the moment as I've got naff all else in the tank lol.

The xenia were delivered and it wasn't until I got them in my tank that I spotted the aiptasias. I'm just awaiting the syringes (hopefully Saturday) so I can play Dr Death and inject the wee beasties with lemon juice, giving them a bitter end :p .

I was also contemplating a peppermint shrimp to munch them. I had one before, but I hardly ever saw it and they definitely aren'y my favourite shrimp either. If the lemon juice doesn't work, I'll resort to more drastic measures.

With any luck, I'll get up the LFS tomorrow and might come back with some goodies lol

Will keep you posted :)

Ooooooooooooooh, now there's something I hadn't thought of. I have a nice little pencil blow torch for accurate tasks. Decisions, decisions. I think the ones that have moved onto my larger rocks will get the jab. The ones on the smaller pieces gonna get flaaaaaaamed :sly:

Thanks for the idea Tina lol

I love the smell of burning aiptaisia in the morning whahahahaha

Actually it really stinks

omg! That live rock is beautiful! I can't believe I'm calling a big lump of rock beautiful lol :p But seriously, thats really nicely coloured rock. My lfs gts in fiji grade ''AA'' liverock £8.50 per kilo, which I think is cheap tbh, and its about 7/10 covered in coraline!

Thanks John for the compliments.

Well my syringes never turned up :grr: so I think I'll just torch the darling little creatures lol.

Well a week later... and my syringes and needles have finally arrived :hey:

26 gauge (0.45mm) x 1/2". I'll let you know how I get on :)
