Ideas On How To Make A Mesh Lid

I had not thought of lighting.

Could a box lid not be made to fit over the tank and the light held on that with clips pegs or J clips??

Yeah I have thought of that option. But again its the issue of the light fixture that holds the tubes. Whats the best to use and Where to get it. I don't have a whole lot of option where I live.
I just that to think about it more thats all..
I may just have to spend the extra money on the ones in the pet store, but i would prefer not to by far

Do you have equivalent of ebay or does your area have a buy sell swap website where you could put it in items wanted.

Anyone got an old tank set up with hood you could modify???
