I was driving down the road with her in a bucket, delivering her somewhere, and I turned to hard and the entire bucket sloshed over and she *vanished*.

:-(

I pulled over and searched the entire innards of the car, and I can't find her anywhere. I'm so angry at myself, I can't believe that happened.

I can't find her anywhere, it's been theorized that when I opened the car door, she fell out, and I didn't see here. I checked everywhere.

She was my favorite, I kept telling people that I'd buy her after my birthday (the 14th of this month) if she was still available.

I'm going to have a sake and sulk for a while.

Sorry to hear of your loss. :rip: But why didn't you put her in a simple ziplock bag with just enough to cover her body and fill the rest with air?

You'll hate me, but I work at a flower shop which sells betta vases. I was delivering a betta vase at the time (with a pamphlet which spoke of basic betta care and about 4 days worth of hikari, no less). The vase was placed inside a bucket for easier handling, but unfortunately, I was too rough with the delivery car and it sloshed over. I still haven't found her, it's like she vanished.

I feel really guilty about her death. She honestly was my favorite, I purposely didn't sell her for weeks because I kept hoping I'd come up with the money to purchase her.

edit: I'm very self concious when I speak of our 'betta vases', because I know how vehement this fourm is against them. Please rest assured, I have studied these little fish, and they are well taken care of. Each delivery comes with the little pamphlet and the hikari.

*hoping no one tries to string her by her toenails*
