I Have Eggies!

so spawning Strawberryshortcake turned out to be a bust, he couldnt tear himself away from the girl long enough to build a nest. so I waited and tried Mcgyver and princes2 and we now have eggies. they should be hatching sometime tomorrow. the first few days are always the most difficult and critical for me to get live babies. Ive got ww, bbs, and atisons betta starter. little buggers better find something they like to eat. also precycled my sponge filters.

well done on the spawn! what type is your male and female?

the male is a halfmoon mustard gas with some butterfly coloring to his fins, not sure if that technicaly makes him a tri color or not, modaz would know. the female is a girl I bred, she has turned out to be a lovely halfmoon, her coloring is a deep green right now but she actualy is a marble, sometimes it shows sometimes it does not. her mother was a platinum white halfmoon and her father a forest green feather tail. Im realy trying for a range of colors with this spawn.

thank you. I am realy praying that a bunch of these guys make it to adulthood, the last few spawns Ive had have not been sucessfull for some stupid reason or another.

the eggs looked like they where developing, but I think he was too worried about his falling apart bubblenest to clean them and they look fuzzy, I shall wait till tomorrow morning to clean the tank out though.
