I Almost Grew Two Feet

cool frags will be interesting to watch these grow in your tank

any more pics of your cLAM Nemo?

Haha Simonas... I'll have to get some for you.

Going through some papers last night, I found mistakenly found the order sheet for those corals and we are correct. They are indeed "Joe the Coral" and a purple stylo. :good:

Not much to report.. Tank doing well. Corals are growing fantasically!
Acan has 3+ heads growing from it... Duncan has a new head growing from it... Zoas are growing insanely quick :D

I've been itching to get a new fish...

Tried to take pictures, but no batteries, so pictures later.

To make a long story short... something happened which caused my anthelia to go into "survival mode" meaning it decided to frag itself into a million pieces in the span of two days until I fixed the problem. So now, the clownfish are upset because there are only about 3 polyps left of their home. The rest didn't die, it's just scattered everywhere in the tank. Anthelia was the ONLY coral affected... go figure...

Anyways, with this event happening, I thought I might take the opportunity to own my first ever anemone. Thought about it a lot, and decided to have my manager order me a rose bubble tip. I think the clowns will take right to it. They look very depressed not having anything to swim in anymore.

Also fighting a zoa-eating nudibranch outbreak as I posted elsewhere =\ Have it mostly under control...

So my message didn't get through about wanting a rbta ordered, but it ended up working out I suppose, as we got in some really nice green BTAs. Neon green with purple tips. Took one home and placed him in the clownfish spot, about 2 hours later now and he has himself squished up a crevice lol... Clowns have yet to pay any attention to him. Pictures tomorrow.

Water stats tonight:

pH: 8.3
KH: 7
Density: 1.025
NO3: 0 ppm
Calcium: 380ppm

I have a wrasse on hold as well.... will likely be picking him up on Sunday. I'll leave it as a surprise :hey:

Despite completely ignoring it when first put in, I turn off the lights and look over to see a couple fish using it as a bed.

We have symbiosis :) Now hopefully the nem STAYS there and everyone is happy.

Another picture, this time with the lights on. The anemone hasn't moved anymore since last night and i'm hoping it stays where it is now as it's in a great spot, near no corals with plenty of room for when it gets larger.

that wrasse is amazing! As is your reef :)

May i ask what kind of wrasse that is?

Wrasse is an exquisite fairy.

They have different color patterns depending on what area they come from. This one is from with African or Maladives.

Anemone moved last night.... into a small crevice... where there's no light haha. Clownfish are upset they can't get to him, but as there's no light there i'm hoping he moves back out soon.

Wow, someone's been busy since I've been gone. Looks great Nemo :)
