Well here is the finished stand just waiting for the polystyrene sheet and the tank.

The concrete base is about 2" thick with hardcore below it, as the weight will be spread across the five piers and from back to front the load is quite evenly supported so there isnt too much pressure on any one spot, there may be a little settling once the tank is filled but i'm expecting it to be minimal if any.

The polystyrene sheet if thick enough should easily help level out the tank if there is a little settling i would think.

On a side note, can i officially *drool*

Well the tank is built I didnt get any pictures of the actual building, the lads had hit a lot of traffic on the way here and didnt arrive until 7.30pm so i thought i'd just let them get on with it unhindered, but after 2 and a half hours of awkward heavy lifting and a huge ammount of silicon here is the finished tank.

I'm going to have to ask a question though - how on earth are you going to clean it past the first 2-3ft at the front??
