How Do I Get Pics On Here

Can't imagine why ou would have problems uploading them at Photobucket. I've never had any problems at all and that's the only site I use. I don't even think they have any size constraints.

not true i am afraid, there is a well publicized 1mb limit on photobucket, unless you upgrade to pro! though i believe imageshack offers options for slightly bigger files.

Most of my photos aren't that large but I do have the premium version. As slow as it is uploading even 200 and 300 kb photos, I can't imagine how long it would take to upload a 1mb or larger one, especially if doing several at a time.

lol, i dont use photobucket, but all my pics are between 500kb and 1.5mb. lol shows how two people can go about the same thing in different ways.
thing is though many people, especially when they first start, can tend to try just and upload the picture, without editing or resizing. if your camera is 5mp or more, you will be well over 1mb, even in JPG format! my 6mp camera produces 2.4mb jpg image, sadly i do not have the option of saving my pictures in raw format, or they would be 17mb.

Goes to show just how much I know about phtography. Up until about 3 months ago, the digital camera I had was only 2mp. I just went back and looked at some of the pics I took with it and they were all less than 250kb. I bought a 7.1mp back in June. As you mentioned, those are all 1.5 to 3.2 mb so I have learned something.

That explains it then, My old camera was only 3mp my new one is 10mp
