LOL....I must have no life  It's taking a couple hours to get this all set up. I'm going to let some of the larger videos upload into photobucket overnight. It's 4 and a half minutes long so it'll take a few hours to upload. I loved all these fish (and my hubby complained b/c we spent an hour and a half in the aquarium). We only got through 1/4 of the zoo, which took 4 hours...to give you an idea how big it is. Luckily I have family down there and we plan to go again. I'll try to get some more pics when we go again....if you all enjoy these. We didn't get to see the seals, rhinos, elephants, and all kinds more. Here's a map of the zoo.
Here's a ton of info also, if you're interested. If anyone knows the names the names of the fish that I haven't named, please pm me and i'll add it w/credit given to you!!

First up are the arowana, arapaima and pacu. These were in the Leid Jungle. I'd say the arap were at least 5 feet long (1.5 meters).

I'm pretty sure these were at the end of the Aquarium, but I'm adding them w/the other pacu and arowanas. I think it's an armored catfish at the end of the video.

And pics of the brand new butterfly house. The left side houses creepy crawlies and the right side houses the butterflies. The butterflies are free flying and occassionally land on us!

They also have a "lab area" where they hang the cacoon. This is the best shot I have of one window of it. For some reason they came out blurry.

The first fish is Cheilinus undulatus, Napoleon Fish
The puffer I think, and do notice think, is a Diodon holocanthus. But not sure about that one. Either way, it's awfully skinny for a puffer =/

The pictures are brilliant though! It looks like a lovely place to visit. And I fully understand staying in the aquarium section that long, I did the exact same thing when I first went to our not so local zoo which has a massive aquarium. Thankfully my other half loves fish as much as I do and didn't mind spending nearly all day there watching all the interesting saltwater fish.

The brownish one you labeld "Neat fish " looks like a trigger. Also, I LOVE BUTTERFLIES. My mom and dad as there wedding present got some butter flies in a case that he caught from all around the world i'll post pics of it later for you guys, but a couple of those butterflies you have pics of.

I feel lucky to be able to go to a fabulous zoo only about 20 minutes away. x3

I haven't been to the zoo in quite a while. I want to see the new butterfly exhibit. It's a shame that you didn't get through all the zoo.

Oh, and the octopus was out. He's never out. o.o

Wow...jflowers. Your pics are really neat too! I wish I could go there  Maybe someday I'll take a trip over the ocean to visit some places over there.

I changed around the videos a little bit. Got it to put in the image w/the reel on it. When I checked they worked. Please let me know if they don't.

I also updated w/names provided by members... :thanks:
