Greetings From Northern Germany

Hello Everybody,

just stumbled into this forum some hours ago. And it looks really interesting! What to tell about me? I'am a family man, married for the second time, five kids from nearly five to seventeen years, working as a instructional designer at a huge german company in Bremen. Hobbies? Fish for example, especially dwarfen cichlids from South-America, Characoids from South-America and small interesting fishes from all over the world, like Danioninae, Badidae, Anabantoidei. Other hobbies are reading good books, movies, nature and some nature science. But over all - at place number one - is my familiy.

So hopefully you all will ignore my sometimes stupid English language. And if there are questions, feel free to ask. Maybe i'am able to find the answers.

Bad Ems is located not far from Koblenz, at the shores of the river "Lahn". Very beautiful, roundabout 500km away from my home-"town" (just 67 residents).

I lived in Aukrug (near Nuemuenster), and Niebuell for 6 months each, and i miss the snow!! (it's very, very hot at the moment where i live).

Have you any photos of your tanks? If so, can we see some?

Ohhh, Schleswig-Holstein - Thats where i born and lived more than twenty years. One of the nicest corners of Germany.

Sorry, we, my wife keep and breed also catfisch, tetras and dwarf-cichlids, are not really good in making pics. All pics we have, and there a more pics taken by friends from all over the world, is shown at netzgeist.org. By example about a tour, catching live-food (all pics are clickable). I'am not finished to translate all the articles there, sorry.

that sounds nice. But not within the next eight months, because we move to a small town near Lüneburg and before we do that, we have to renovate, or better reconstruct our home, inside a over 300 years old farmhouse, owned by my parents. A lot of work and money to spend.
