USA,
my brother took in some kribs in his goldfish tank, no idea why, and they have eaten off the fins of one of the fish, so last night I moved her into my tank last night with "peaceful" fish. Well when I woke up she was missing an eye. IU think my port acara who is usually peaceful must have eaten it. I am very nervous about her. I dont want her to die, as I like her alot. I took out the kribs, and moved her back into their own tank,

Coldwater fish don't really belong in tropical tanks I'm afraid. If you're unable to keep them in a coldwater tank, best thing you can probably do is set them up for a delivery to your lfs. I know it sounds harsh, but from the sounds of it they're taking a bit of a beating from your tropicals, so maybe it might be time to give them a tank of their own or put them somewhere with more appropriate temperatures and requirements.

they are in their own tank, they kribs were just visiting, The others arent fancey and are doing great.

Kribs just dont like fins and will go for anything that has them flowing or trailing.
As the fish have now been removed use some melafix if you think the damage is bad. As for the eye, then just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt get infected and the fish should do ok. If theres no other fish in the tank then i would sugest salting the tank to .2% to help the socket heal over.
Add 1 level teaspoon per gallon or 1 level tablespoon per 5 gallons U.S and do the same 12 hours later and leave it like that for a week.If theres a water change in that time then remember to re add the salt thats taken out, and dont add salt if he is adding water through evaporation. You can use aquarium salt, kosher salt or pickling salt.
Hope that helps :)

thanks!

She seems to be doing good back with her friends nwo.

I have a few cichlids in my tank,soI just put them in there. One of the males is very nice, I think it was the bigger male that did it or teh female.
